It has always been a dream of ours to open a hotel on the beach, not a big fancy hotel, but one that radiates a welcoming atmosphere, one with soul and one that attracts people of all ages, from all walks of life.

The dream became a reality for us (Supun & Mel) in 2023. After some renovations of the existing dwelling, previously known as ‘Sunbeach Hotel’.

With the Indian Ocean as our front yard, Amaroo lives up to its meaning, “beautiful place”. We look forward to welcoming you to our little corner of the world.
